The ‘Excellence’ section in Horizon Europe

The objectives of this course:

The ‘Excellence’ section is the opening chapter of your Horizon Europe application, and as such, it is the first real opportunity to impress and intrigue the reviewers with your project proposal. However, and while the ‘Excellence’ section template instructions may seem straightforward, the highly competitive Horizon Europe grant requires more than simply ‘ticking the boxes’ and following the general instructions in this sub-section in order to successfully address it in your proposal. For this reason, we dedicate a course entirely to this section. 

We will begin by approaching the ‘Excellence’ section from a conceptual perspective, that is, focusing on its role in presenting key aspects of the application. We will then continue focusing on its sub-sections, ‘Objectives and ambition’ and ‘Methodology’. Finally, we will provide our expert writing tips, insights, and considerations, to ensure you are ready to successfully formulate your project’s own ‘Excellence’ section.
